We offer a professional and competitive house clearance service to the North West of England and beyond. We can arrange collection from one item to a complete house clearance. All items deemed saleable will be put into our next available Sale, held fortnightly on Tuesday and Wednesdays. Each of our auctions features live internet bidding, so your items can be sold across the world. We can also arrange removal of un-saleable items.
We will happily visit homes across Cheshire and beyond to advise on any items you wish to sell. If we are able to take the items with us there will be no collection charge. If a separate collection visit is necessary there will be a small charge, dependent on distance and time taken. Collection charges will be stated up front and deducted from your net sale proceeds.
From the initial visit through collection and cataloguing of your item, our team are highly experienced in spotting the diamond in the rough, the brass in the muck. We will carefully sort your items and ensure that you receive the highest price possible for your goods.
How do I pay for the service?
We do not necessarily take payments upfront, making the process much simpler for yourself. We will agree the charge for the clearance and deduct this from the takings at the sale of the goods. On occasion, our Senior Auctioneer may wish to purchase unwanted goods at the time of valuing your items.
How much notice do you need?
Our flexible storage facility means that we are normally able to arrange a collection within 72 hours, some times we are able to collect the items on the same day if it is a single item. We are flexible and are able to arrange a time which is suitable to your requirements.
I am clearing a house for a deceased relative and do not live near the property. Can you assist?
We deal regularly with deceased estates or those where your relative has moved in to residential care. We do not need anyone to be present throughout the clearance, we simply require access to the property through either a solicitor, neighbour or estate agent. Our aim is to make the process as simple as possible for yourself.
Should I just dispose of the rubbish and leave the antiques for you to look at?
Our advice is NO! We have heard so many times that people have cleared the rubbish and would like us to look at the valuable items, upon arrival the value has been placed in the skip and the items that should have been skipped are left in the property. We always advise to contact us in the first instance and then we can provide a FREE VALUATION on the contents of the property before you make any decisions.
